Dear Fellow Dreamer (a God Sized Dream Post)

Dear Fellow Dreamer,

Dreaming is a hard thing to do. There are so many obstacles that present themselves everyday. But don't let that discourage you. You were made to dream. God whispers his plans for us into our hearts and then sits back and waits for us to hear them. Grab hold of those whispers and don't let go. It may happen tomorrow or it may take years but if you grab hold of them they will come true.

Don't let others tell you that you can't do it. Don't listen to them. Block them out! My own husband told me a couple of weeks ago that I was not a writer. (I may not be the best but at least I try.) I am not listening to him. I am going to continue to write everyday to encourage others. I am not losing sight of that dream. Please don't give up based on what others say.

Dream big! We tell our children that all the time but for some reason, when we grow up we stop. Dream big and jump in. We teach our children more by showing them then by telling them and I never want my children to stop dreaming. Show them what it means to dream and to go after a dream. They may just be a dreamer too.

Don't follow someone else in their dream if yours is different. Encourage them and support them but don't shove your dream to the side because someone else has a dream too. Stand up for your dream. And if you find someone who supports your dream and wants to help you out let them.

Reach out to others. We all need encouragement. Let people encourage you.

It's okay to be scared. It is almost a written rule that if your dream doesn't scare you at some point, then you aren't doing it right. Don't get me wrong, there are always those lucky few who fear nothing in life and do it all. I am not one of them and more than likely neither are you.

Be scared. Be real. And keep dreaming. Pray for everything with everything that you have. You are amazing and so is your dream.

Whether you want you dream of speaking, writing, encouraging, or being a mom; never lose that dream. It may not look like you imagined in the end but you have to try to get there.

And remember, I am proud of you fellow dreamer and I love you for the person that you are. And more importantly, God loves you too. Turn to our Father for all your needs. He is the only one that can make them happen. Listen to him as he softly whispers to you. And love him for all you are worth. You are worth more than gold to this world and you need to know that.

Keep up the dreaming,
Laura

Did you know that Holley Gerth has written a book just for you! It is gloriously written for dreamers called "You're Made Made For A God Sized Dream." This book has been a life coach through my walk in this new dream and I don't think I could have done what I have without this book in my hands and the group of ladies that Holley brought together last December. The book and the group have become my life line.I know that I can open up this book and find just what I need when I need it and it will lead me back to where I want to be all the while reminding me who gave me my dream and reminding me to take everything to him in prayer. I have a tendency to tell people to go out and buy a book because it is so good when I review them because I tend to enjoy the books that I read. And I am saying that this time too but I am adding in that everyone NEEDS this book. Whether you think you are a dreamer or not. You definitely NEED this book. So click here to buy it or go to any major retailer. You will be glad that you did!
