Where is the Dream

So this week I am supposed to be updating you in where I am with my dream. Well, it seems to be on hold. Along with everything else in my life. This move has literally placed everything on hold. But that's okay. I really don't mind. I needed the break from writing and from schedules to regain some perspective. And I have. And by next week I will be back with a vengeance three days a week. There will be summer activity ideas to do with your children, books worth reading, updates on the house, and so much more. And as far as the other dream that I finally achieved of staying at home with my boys- it has it's good days and it's bad days. But I am home with them. And that means the world to me. We have come so far and we have so many things planned this summer that I have never been able to do before and we are so excited. I have Vacation Bible School next week too. And I haven't taught in 2 years. I had not planned on teaching this year but apparently God thought otherwise since last week the teacher for Miles' class backed out and now I am teaching his class. So I will be showing some pictures of the decorations from my classroom and some of my own children next week. And while I am at it, last Friday I went to my first high school graduation since my own. And I was bursting with pride as that sweet girl walked up and got her diploma. I may not have any daughters of my own but I watched one who I love like my own graduate with a Beta sash and all. So that is a little of a dream update and a little of a mishmash of information. I am so grateful for all of your support and patience through this little break.

  1. Hello! I loved finding your blog today! The picture at the top is just beautiful. How gracious of our God to allow you to stay home with your boys. Being blessed to stay home with our sweet boy every day of my life is one of my most precious, sweetest blessings. God is SO good and so faithful! I trust you will be blessed as you pursue His dreams for you! Love, Cheryl

  2. Yay, for one of your dreams getting realized-staying at home! It is hard, but worth it! And it looks like God has already got lots of things planned for you to do :)Good luck getting settled in from your move, having moved 7 months ago myself, I am still settling in and adjusting, it just takes time. Blessings!

    1. Thank you. It is a big adjustment. But I'm getting there.
